Shut down of SoMo

Hello,

Despite early enthusiasm for the SoMo application and service, we have found that the interest in this type of a service has gradually decreased over time including dramatically throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, we have decided to shut down the SoMo application and service as of September 4, 2020.

What does this mean to you?

  • Between today and until September 3, 2020

    • You may continue to use the application as you have been using it to date.

    • Please prepare to take a copy of any of your historical rides, gatherings or carpools, where necessary.

    • Once you have saved any necessary information, please delete the application from your mobile device.

  • On September 4, 2020

    • The SoMo application and service will be shut down and you will no longer be able to access or download the application.

    • Your account, including any personal data associated to your account is going to be deleted, including any historical rides or gatherings, your carpooling groups or any additional information in your profile, including any credit cards you may have stored with your account.

While the service is available, you may still continue to contact us at mobility.apps.support@here.com. Please note that the customer support channel will also be similarly shut down on September 4, 2020.

For any privacy related queries, you may continue to contact the HERE Privacy team at privacy@here.com even beyond the dates mentioned above.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this decision.
